Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage AP operations with precision and efficiency. This role offers you the opportunity to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams and external suppliers. You’ll join a supportive and inclusive team, bringing together professionals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

Key responsibilities of yours will be:

• Act as the main point of contact for our external bookkeeping partners
• Ensure timely and accurate resolution of AP invoice issues
• Maintain and reconcile vendor ledgers with precision
• Manage internal invoice inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Reconcile accounts and support period-end close processes
• Assist in clearing payments and receipts against ledgers
• Collaborate with controllers during month-end closing
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed

The person, we’re looking for:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in an AP or similar finance role
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, MS Excel, and MS Office Tools
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Experience in a Shared Services Centre environment is a plus
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Well-organized and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Secondary school certificate required; BSc in Finance & Accounting or related field is an advantage
