Role Summary
The Project Coordinator is a strategic position responsible for coordinating electric vehicle charger installations for condos/apartments. You will play a leading role in COIL’s delivery of EV charger installation services and national growth for COIL’s key accounts and individual customers. As the primary contact for electrical contractors and end customers, you will ensure that jobs are scheduled and completed on time, and to the satisfaction of our customers. You’ll coordinate internally with our Sales, Scheduling, Support, Certified Partners and Accounting teams to ensure the customer is happy with their installation experience, and that our installation partners are happy working with us. The ideal candidate has experience with managing vendors or subcontractors, and providing exemplary customer support. You should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and take pride in solving problems. We’re looking for someone who sees customer challenges as opportunities and who can exercise good judgment in evaluating and prioritizing issues as they arise. While no two days will end up looking the same, generally speaking you will be responsible for the following:
● Alert COIL’s network of Certified Partners to new jobs, and ensure jobs are claimed in a timely manner
● Schedule jobs by aligning client and installer availability, and clearly communicate project expectations
● Update internal project management systems to keep everyone informed
● Coordinate internally with COIL’s Sales, Scheduling, Certified Partners, Accounting and Support teams
● Coordinate externally with customers and contractors
● Coordinate shipment of EV chargers & other equipment/materials to clients or installation partners
● Escalate customer or installer issues to the appropriate department as needed
Requirements
● 1+ years in vendor management
● 1+ years in customer success
● 1+ years in construction or electrical contracting
● 1+ years in scheduling or project management
● Ability to work independently and be largely self-sufficient
● Demonstrated interest in EVs / renewable energy
● Experience in a startup or similar environment
● Proficiency in project management software
● Strong written and oral communication skills
● Preference for someone located in key regions (CA, AZ, OR, UT, NV, FL, NJ, NY, TX)
