Job Description
The Linux Foundation is seeking a results-oriented HubSpot power user and martech professional with an interest in growing open source technology projects that underpin the global digital economy. The successful candidate will have a passion for community engagement, systems management, best-in-class skills in email marketing, SEO, demand generation, strategy development and execution, and teamwork. In this role you will work with team members across numerous open source project communities, and with colleagues across functions, including in IT, sales operations, marketing, research, events, and training, to meet strategic goals. You will provide timely support to a diverse set of open source project teams in their community outreach, demand generation, and ABM efforts, implementing best practices in systems management, communications, and ecosystem engagement. In this role you’ll help to develop, implement, and report on metrics related to communications and demand generation campaigns that are fundamental to the success of the Linux Foundation and its project communities.
- Be the primary point of contact on HubSpot and other martech tooling, providing expert-level support, execution, troubleshooting, training, and timely resolution to queries related for team members across the organization.
- Maintain the Linux Foundation’s HubSpot account as a critical community engagement and business resource, managing numerous subdomains, business units, and unique brands.
- Ensure that tooling is optimized for organizational success, and in accordance with marketing industry and compliance best practices, managing elements such as subscription centers, community lists, workflows, and templates.
- Ensure seamless integration with other market platforms including Salesforce, to ensure data is flowing smoothly and accurately.
- Manage the execution of paid and organic lead generation efforts across channels.
- Manage inbound and outbound lead gen channels, including email, direct mail, PPC advertising, social media advertising.
- Manage SEO strategy, community partnership engagements, and 3rd party martech relationships.
- Report on HubSpot and marketing campaign performance / metrics.
- Monitor and analyze HubSpot and other industry platform tools to identify trends and opportunities for growth and optimization, and make recommendations to stakeholders based on this analysis.
- Collaborative effectively as you support and build community-wide relationships
- Uphold the brand integrity of the Linux Foundation as a neutral, trusted, non-profit organization.
- Build and grow the business while adhering to the core values of humility, helpfulness, and hopefulness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Certified HubSpot power user, with a deep understanding of its features and capabilities, preferably within an agency or consortium environment.
- Experience with Salesforce integration and administration.
- Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello.
- Proficiency in demand generation tools such as Demandbase, Drift, GoogleAds, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, and other paid advertising channels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive decision-making.
- Experience working with agencies, or multi stakeholder consortia is a plus.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular business hours to facilitate occasional special events across time zones.
