The opportunity

 

Join EY GDS Poland’s Finance Consulting Practice, where you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) capabilities. As a Senior Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives around EPM platforms such as Tagetik, OneStream, and other similar tools. You will be responsible for developing our internal competency, driving thought leadership, and supporting sale and go-to-market efforts to position EY as a leader in finance technology transformation.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

• Competency Building: Develop and expand the EPM capability within the team, including training, methodology development, and tool expertise.
• Strategic Leadership: Lead EPM transformation projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and EY’s strategic vision.
• Thought Leadership: Create and disseminate best practices, white papers, and frameworks around EPM implementation and strategy.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with business development teams to shape offerings, respond to RFPs, and present EY’s value proposition to clients.
• Tool Implementation: Oversee and support the implementation of EPM platforms
• Client Advisory: Advise clients on selecting and optimizing EPM tools based on their business needs and financial processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Communication and Presentation: Deliver compelling presentations and workshops to clients and internal teams.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

• EPM Expertise: Deep understanding of Tagetik or OneStream or Anaplan, and other EPM platforms.
• Consulting Skills: Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and drive strategic initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing senior client relationships and influencing decision-makers.
• Change Management: Experience in leading organizational change related to finance transformation.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; German or French is a plus.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments.
• Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

• Experience: 10+ years in finance transformation, with a focus on EPM tools.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, information technology, or a related field is usually required.

• Certification: Certifications in specific EPM software (e.g., Tagetik, Anaplan, OneStream, Oracle, SAP, Hyperion)

• Tool Implementation: Hands-on experience implementing EPM platforms
• Strategic Advisory: Ability to provide high-level insights and recommendations to clients.
• Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects.
• Client Engagement: Strong track record of client-facing roles and strategic consulting.
