Role Description

The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating with resources across multiple teams to ensure that Avaya’s Cloud environments obtain and retain necessary compliance certifications to compete in Government markets around the world. While the focus of this role will be FedRAMP and IL5, the candidate will be required to assess and support certifications from other government markets. Prior experience developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance processes across large services organizations will be helpful. Technical experience/familiarity with Avaya products and Cloud Offers is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ongoing compliance process specific to FedRAMP, IL5, State RAMP, Cyber Essentials and other  certifications
• Work directly with internal Avaya stakeholders to facilitate process adherence and mitigate non-conformities
• Support recurring internal and external audits of Avaya’s Cloud environments to maintain certification
• Develop and provide recurring communication for Avaya leadership regarding certification status
• Identify and address areas of improvement within Cloud control processes to ensure ongoing compliance / continuous improvement

Skills & Competencies

• Project and/or program management experience required, certification a plus
• Technical familiarity with Avaya UC and CC applications a plus
• Technical familiarity with networking / cloud computing principals
• Independent worker capable of driving initiatives forward
• Focused on working towards customer outcomes despite imperfect information
• Strong background in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience

• Prior experience developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance processes across large services organizations
• Experience directly managing process compliance with FedRAMP,  SOC2 Type 2, PCI, and/or HPIAA certifications
• Demonstrated capability of working directly with customers & stakeholders within service delivery environment
• Experience directly managing ongoing service projects/programs
• Demonstrated team player with proven history of working across diverse organizations 
• Project Management certification a plus
• Experience working directly with Avaya UC/CC products a plus
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or commensurate work experience
