About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Your Role: 

• Manage private equity tax deliverables and client relationships, including preparation and review of tax estimates, year-end tax work papers, and Schedule K-1s.
• Review federal and state tax returns prepared by 3rd party
• Manage and train direct reports and coordinate assignments
• Research federal, state and international tax issues
• Liaise with clients and their tax advisors on the preparation of partnership income tax returns
• Liaise with Fund Accounting, On-boarding, Waterfall and other Citco teams globally
• Develop and improve processes around growing private equity business to enhance client offering
• Participate in technology automation, procedure development and other special projects
• Assist in the pursuit of new business, including sales pitches and pricing of engagements

About You:

• 5+ years of relevant private equity tax experience with high volume operational environment.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• Knowledge of private equity structures
• Knowledge of partnership accounting and allocations, including tax waterfalls
• Experience with federal and state tax return compliance
• Experience with managing and/or leading staff
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with high degree of attention to detail
• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work product
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Investran a plus

Salary Range: USD 150,000 - 210,000
