Senior iOS Engineer

This is a remote position.

As a Senior iOS Engineerat Aspire, You will be responsible for developing our iOS apps catering to students, teachers, and parents, serving over 3 million monthly active users. This entails working with a shared codebase and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs from Canvas. Your focus will be on ensuring quality by writing unit tests for all features and staying updated on the latest iOS technologies to integrate new features swiftly.

• Develop our iOS apps with some shared codebase, aimed for students, teachers and parents, with more than 3 million monthly active users.
  
• Consuming the numerous RESTful and GraphQL APIs of Canvas.
  
• Have a quality mindset, write unit tests for all features.
  
• Be up-to-date about the latest technologies, we tend to support the newest iOS features as soon as they come out.
  
• Our technology stack: Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, CoreData, MVVM, CocoaPods, XCTest, Firebase, Bitrise.
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  
• Senior Level Engineer with 5+ years experience developing native iOS Applications. Previous experience as a Tech lead and/or interacting with principal engineers and architects is highly preferred.
  
• Web experience is a plus.
  
• Deep understanding of Swift, Design Patterns, iOS architecture and CocoaTouch frameworks.
  
• Experienced with UIKit and SwiftUI.
  
• Published or participated in the release of iOS applications.
  
• Ability to mentor and express concepts among cross functional teams clearly and succinctly.
  
• Ability to work independently, collaborate on complex projects and drive results.
