Accounts Payable Staff Accountant

Investcloud is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounts Payable team. This position will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, and month-end close processes.

The ideal candidate will bring an analytical mindset and a commitment to process improvement, accuracy, and efficiency within our accounting processes. Accountant must be highly organized and eager to learn more about the business.  Must be able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.  Candidate is expected to display a high degree of integrity and professionalism while working with financial documents.

Responsibilities of the role 

•  Review and process vendor bills in a timely and accurate manner for multiple subsidiaries.
•  Collaborate with different business units to resolve vendor bill discrepancies.
•  Review, analyze, and create reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
•  Manage and prepare weekly payment runs for all domestic subsidiaries, ensuring timely payments.
•  Prepare month-end accrual journal entries.
•  Analyze month-over-month expense trends.
•  Assist with P-Card support and collection efforts.
•  Work closely with vendor management on the Purchase Order process to ensure clear and concise invoicing.
•  Support external audit requests.
•  Lead year-end 1099 reporting efforts.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration: 

•  Previous vendor bill processing and accrual experience preferred
•  Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
•  CPA candidate preferred
•  1–3 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus
•  Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve accounting issues involving multiple variables
•  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•  Ability to assist with projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a sense of urgency
•  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
•  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
•  Experience with ERP systems preferred; NetSuite experience is a plus
