WLI Conventional Machinist I

Winpak Lane Inc. is seeking dynamic results driven Conventional Machinist I to join our Team based out of Rialto CA. Responsible for Set up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set-up and Operates Conventional Mill and or Lathes.
• Perform First Article Inspection on either Conventional Mill or Lathes.
• Fabricating, Inspecting & Deburring
• Perform Machining Operations

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• High School Graduate or GED required

• Experience:

• 2-5 years Conventional Mill or Lathe machine experience
• (Set up, operate, perform first article inspection on either Conventional Mill or Lathe)

Additional Details:

• Skills & Abilities:
• Working knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience using the following machines: Engine lathe, manual milling, drill press, arbor press and other various machines.
• Basic reading, writing, and some advanced arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Additional Requirements:
• Knowledge of raw materials including various metals and plastics.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds multiple times during work shift.
• Basic knowledge of computer and Microsoft applications.

Compensation range:  

HOURLY RANGE $21.00 TO $25.00 BASED ON EXPERIENCE. The compensation range provided is a general guideline only. Pay will be determined based on the candidate's experience and expertise and is subject to vary.
