Shift: Night Shift with Rotating Weekends

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $27.72 – $39.60 (based on experience)

• Specialty Differential: +$2.50/hour

• Shift Differentials:

  • Night Shift: +$3/hour

  • Weekend Shift: +$2/hour

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (Night Shift Only, case-by-case)

Position Summary

We are hiring a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU). In this role, you will provide high-acuity care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery while working as part of a collaborative and patient-centered team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver intensive post-operative care to cardiac surgery patients

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Autonomously manage complex clinical scenarios

• Provide education to patients and families regarding medications and treatments

• Advocate for patients’ rights, privacy, and safety

• Continuously seek to improve patient outcomes and care quality

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year acute care RN experience

• ICU experience preferred

Licensure and Certifications:

• Active RN License in the State of Florida

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire

• CCRN preferred (required within 2 years)

• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 30 days of hire

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
