Overview: 

The Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for performing loan boarding, general servicing, and accounting functions for all commercial real estate loans including sold and participated loans. Responsible for member service activities such payoffs, reconveyances, delinquent property taxes, payments and payment corrections including returned items. Interface with borrowers to collect all financial documents and property information/inspections needed for the annual review process. Direct contact will all loan participants, providing monthly remittance and processing wires.

What You Will Do: 

• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. 
• Accurately board and fund all commercial real estate loans as well as business loans and lines of credit. 
• Wire loan proceeds as necessary. 
• Has detailed knowledge of our CORE system to ensure payment corrections and other le maintenance is completed accurately. 
• Process rate and payment adjustments for variable rate CRE loans. 
• Ensure that all steps are taken to maintain complete and accurate le information. 
• Responsible for contacting members directly in a tactful and professional manner to clear documentation exceptions, obtain additional information as needed, and assist with collecting on delinquent loans. 
• Maintain the CRE loan payoff portion of the loan tracking sheet. 
• Complete special projects as assigned. 
• Compose and edit correspondence from word processing documents, verbal direction, written documents and files as requested. 
• Responsible for working with borrowers directly to collect current financial documents, property information and inspections to ensure timely completion of the annual review process for all commercial real estate loans.
• Responsible for processing participation remittance reports, verifying the accuracy of the payments, and wiring funds to participants. 
• Review monthly statements and annual 1098 forms for accuracy prior to distribution to our borrowers. 
• Responsible for processing all payoff and demand requests including reconveyance at loan payoff for all CRE loans. 
• Responsible for timely and professional member follow-up, research, loan advances and pay downs, payment issues, ACH set up, wires and any and all servicing needs.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For: 

• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.  
• A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours. 
• A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. 
• Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.

Pay Grade Info:

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State.  We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies.  Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is: $23-$29/hourly.
