Position: Night Auditor

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Services: Welcome guests during the overnight shift (typically 11 PM - 7 AM) assist with check-ins reservations and inquiries.
• Night Audit: Prepare and finalize Night Audit work ensuring accurate daily transaction balancing.
• Security: Conduct security walks to ensure guest and property safety.
• Reporting: Prepare daily reports and the Daily Flash Report for management insights.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments for smooth operations and exceptional service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 1 year in a hotel or related field. Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
• Skills: Proficient in Windows spreadsheets and word processing. Strong problem-solving skills and independence.
• Attributes: Friendly service-oriented with excellent communication and detail-oriented.

Our hotel in Peoria, IL is the ideal stay for a home away from home with our large suite rooms. The Residence Inn Peoria is a pet friendly and extended stay hotel conveniently located just off I-74 near the Northwoods Mall. Our hotel is minutes from downtown Peoria, Bradley University and the Caterpillar headquarters. If travelers are staying with us on business, our close proximity to the area’s major businesses includes: Maui Jim Headquarters, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Unitypoint Methodist, Accenture, IBM, Deloitte and Bosch. Guests at our Peoria hotel will find themselves near the events at the Peoria Civic Center, host to some of music’s biggest names and Bradley University basketball. Our suites make guests feel as if they never left home with a fully-equipped kitchen, separate living and dining area, and free Wi-Fi. Each morning we offer a free breakfast buffet and an evening social hour with drinks and light dinner Monday-Wednesday.
