Senior Manager, IT Business Partner (Supply Chain)

We value diversity and recognize that nurturing our employees' unique perspectives and strengths results in innovative breakthroughs for our patients.</span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p><b>Location</b>: This position is available in a hybrid model, with flexibility to be based in <b>Dublin, Athlone, or Cork</b>.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities:</span></b><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Business Partnership and Development:</span></b><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Develop and </span><span>maintain</span><span> strong working relationships with multi-functional teams, including operations, finance, and IT Global Supply Chain Teams, focusing on Transport and Distribution operations.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Anticipate industry trends and technological advancements, </span><span>identifying</span><span> opportunities for innovation and improvement in the supply chain technology landscape.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Propose strategic technologies, tools &amp; approaches, </span><span>leveraging</span><span> experience in Transport and distribution technology.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Foster knowledge sharing and social networks to enable information flow and promote best practices.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Drive end-to-end Delivery Management covering the full project initiation and life cycle (SDLC), including qualification for bid/financing, staffing, client management, and governance.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Identify</span><span> and implement technology solutions to enhance supply chain performance, such as automation, data analytics, and AI/ML Technologies.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Maintain relationships with external technology vendors and partners to ensure </span><span>optimal</span><span> performance and service delivery.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p><b><span>Leadership:</span></b><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Collaborate with Senior Business and IT leaders to build and gain consensus for a multi-year implementation road map for Global Supply Chain Processes/Systems, with a focus on Logistics Transport and Distribution.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Drive core strategic </span><span>objectives</span><span> related to </span><span>logistics</span><span>, transport, and distribution technology.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Lead integrated (both IT and Business) teams to deliver solid technology solutions in support of key client initiatives.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Co-ordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work, running high-level client expectations and relationships.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Deliver progress reports to the functions Supply Chain &amp; IT Leadership teams, </span><span>maintaining</span><span> company quality and quantity standards across the IT Organisation.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p><b><span>Requirements:</span></b><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Education and Experience:</span></b><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology</span><span>, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or </span><span>Master's</span><span> degree preferred.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>10+ </span><span>years experience</span><span> in IT Operations/Supply Chain management, with a proven </span><span>track record</span><span> of success.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong understanding of supply chain processes, </span><span>including IBP (Integrated Business Planning),</span><span> </span><span>logistics</span><span>, and inventory management.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Extensive knowledge of supply chain technology systems, including:</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>ERP: Enterprise Resource Planning</span><span> EG: SAP ECC / 4HANA</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>WMS: Warehouse Management System</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>TMS: Transportation Management System</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>CRM: Customer Relationship Management</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>ML &amp; AI Adoption: Machine Learning &amp; Artificial Intelligence Adoption for system integration.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span><span>Experience </span></span></span><span><span><span>p</span></span></sp
