Cocktail Server

Now Hiring a Cocktail Server! Step into the fast-paced and exciting world of 7 Cedars! We’re looking for an energetic, friendly, and service-minded Cocktail Server to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant environment while earning excellent tips. The Cocktail Server provides continuous quality entertainment and is responsible for taking orders and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. Ensure the overall cleanliness of tables and side stations. Perform stocking and inventory as needed. Follow food and beverage standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Radiates a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with guests.
• Relays alcoholic drink orders and/or special requests to bartender.
• Prepares non-alcoholic drinks for guests. May pour/make certain alcoholic beverages as permitted by company policies.
• Responds guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Frequently checks on table to offer additional cocktail service.
• Monitors guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease; notifies management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers.
• Accurately accounts for all sales, discounts and promotions in computerized cash register according to company cash handling procedures.
• Clean and stock assigned station in service area.
• Maintains cleanliness of gaming floor including but not limited to replacing ashtrays.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Follow all general and department policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Food/beverage service experience with general knowledge of drinks preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Proficient of alcoholic suggestive selling.
• Customer service oriented, knowledge of proper serving, and table-clearing techniques, patient and quick-paced.
• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledgeable of state liquor laws.
• Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
• Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
• Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
