The Job:  

As a Senior Financial Analyst, NA Auto, you’ll be part of our Industrial Finance team working as a hybrid employee.    You’ll get to:   

  • This position is an integral team member of the NA Auto team as we partner with the business for commercial strategic growth and manage the NA Auto P&L. 
  • Responsible for best in class FP&A to help manage the financial planning and analysis activities including our operating plan, quarterly forecast development, ongoing outlook performance and business leadership reporting.   
  • Provide decision support to the commercial team for developing strategies to drive profitability, process efficiency, and overall business improvement. 
  • Support weekly, monthly, quarterly forecasting rhythms including annual budget, month end close process, quarterly forecasts, & weekly latest estimate rhythm.
  • Strong focus on understanding and communicating key variances, identifying and implementing tools and models to streamline processes, increase visibility and drive effective decision making.
  • Identify and develop tools to automate reporting, provide visibility into key metrics, and drive business performance.
  • Insightful reporting and analysis for key decision support in the commercial organization, driving both revenue and margin improvement.

Essential Job Functions

  • Own the AR Process and drive enhancements through robust reporting and analytics, building communication paths for proactive management, and partnering across functions in order to improve receivables performance.
  • Support the development of a standardized customer profitability management framework to ensure effective customer negotiations & margin management outcomes; Own the pricing giveback process, monthly margin audits, and running ad hoc pricing analyses.
  • Ownership of Daily Sales & driving accuracy in weekly LE reporting through order book analyses and proactive investigation of revenue impact drivers and sales S&OP relationships.
  • Partner with the S&OP team during the deployment of Next Gen IBP and concurrent support
  • Manage SG&A including headcount & resulting spend to meet commercial goals.
  • Support financial planning activities by driving majority of close activities, quarterly forecasts, and operating plan.

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
  • Working knowledge of ERP, financial reporting systems, and Oracle Hyperion experience preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with dashboarding / visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI).
  • Ability to foster a spirit of cooperation and teamwork across a matrixed finance organization.
    • Able to build cross-functional relationships and interact with all levels in the organization
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to communicate headwinds / tailwinds and business results in a concise yet thorough manner.
    • Strong analytical skills.
  • Results driven individual with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments.
