About the Role

As the Sales Director, you'll be responsible to lead a team of highly successful Health System Sales Executives. You'll be responsible for new and existing sales of the Clinical Solutions portfolio. You'll lead and develop top talent, inspire and energize, and deliver results. Our solutions focus on clinical practice, patient engagement, drug information, reference & decision support, academic education & certification, learning & competency management, and health analytics.

Responsibilities

· Meeting and exceeding established sales goals.

· Inspiring and energizing the team to achieve greatness.

· Recruiting, hiring and training new employees into high-performing Sales Executives.

· Setting clear goals and providing coaching and feedback to develop talent.

· Creating a territory business plan including strategies for increasing customer-focused activity and pipeline growth. Implementing big deal and strategic account management to consistently winning in the marketplace.

· Managing the business with metrics and data.

· Developing accurate forecasts of new business opportunities and active renewals.

· Providing continuous feedback to product and marketing teams, participating in projects for continued product enhancements, and go to market strategies.

· Establishing credibility and building relationships with key decision makers and influencers at hospitals. (Including the C-suite and stakeholders in IT, Nursing and Professional Practice Management).

· Working collaboratively with various functional areas internally as well as with external stakeholders.
Networking with others; developing business relationships at multiple levels internally and externally.

Requirements

· Proven track record of sales management experience in the healthcare industry

· Capable of teaching the process for successful prospecting & closing new business, leading to consistent quota achievement

· Demonstrated experience with “Consultative Selling” to identify and solve customer problems.

· Experience selling technology solutions in a complex B2B/healthcare environment, with multiple influencers and decision makers.

· Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast new business opportunities and renewals.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organization to identify, develop and manage opportunities.

· Have a college education paired with successful team Management and Sales experience. Coupled with knowledge of the regulatory environment in health care.

· Communication (verbal and written) presentation skills; fluency in English.

· Able to effectively influence various non-reporting functions in a matrixed business structure.

· Able to travel as necessary, estimated to be 30% overnight.
