TransPerfect Health, a division of TransPerfect, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join their team at Peachtree Hills Place, a beautiful retirement community in Atlanta. The role offers a chance to work with the geriatric population, helping residents improve their functionality and well-being.

No prior experience is necessary, as long as you're passionate about working with older adults.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s involved:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong Physical Therapy program and optimize the functionality of residents.
• Evaluate and treat residents based on physician orders.
• Conduct screenings and complete necessary documentation.
• Participate in meetings, in-services, and care plans.
• Work alongside the Director of Rehabilitation to create tailored programs for residents.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and Resident’s Rights Guidelines.
• Supervise PTAs (Physical Therapy Assistants) and offer guidance as needed.
• Ensure proper scheduling and assist with education for residents, families, and staff.
• Help the facility meet the required standards for state and federal certification.

Skills Required:

• Clear communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong time management and caseload management.
• Ability to supervise PTAs as needed.
• Must be able to perform various physical tasks (lifting, bending, reaching, etc.).

Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree in Physical Therapy and state licensure.
• Senior living experience and knowledge of therapy software/EMR is preferred.
