Title: Staffing Coordinator, Clinical Services

Overview:

Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking a Clinical Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler to work with our clinical coordination team. This team’s primary responsibility is to work directly with our nurses to ensure they are providing the compassionate care our clients deserve. Coordinators focus on delivery of care through scheduling and continuous communication with our clinicians.

***The position is based full-time, on site at our Melville office.

Responsibilities:

• Staff personnel according to client schedules and care needs.
• Collaborate with recruitment division to communicate specific staffing needs.
• Document and report to supervisor when there is a change in client status, change in service requirements, change in clinician assigned to case, and incidents and complaints.
• Partners with recruiters and intake coordinators to ensure immediate and effective care coverage.
• Communicate all relevant information to care team and clients in a timely fashion.
• Follows up with clients and families regarding schedule changes, service issues, etc.
• Documentation of daily staff/call log

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a home care setting preferred.
• Strong customer service background.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to multi-task.
• Technically savvy - proficient in use of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices.
• Exceptional communication skills - demonstrated ability to communicate and follow-up in a timely manner.
