The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Psychologist to support our mission in democratizing access to high-quality mental health care! Cerebral takes a holistic and comprehensive approach when providing care for our patients which includes therapy services along with medication management as needed.

This position is a 1099 contract role at $100 per hour. This hourly rate (versus per session rate) allows you to be compensated for administrative tasks along with case consults, Q&As, fireside chats, and more!

Who you are:

• Independently Licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) in the United States
• You are licensed and in good standing in at least one of the following PSYPACT states: AL, AZ, AR, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY
• You do not need to reside in the states outlined above, but do need to be licensed and enrolled in one of the PSYPACT states listed
• Knowledge in clinical application of the DSM-5
• Maintain a strong evidence-based clinical skill set while practicing & implementing outcome-focused care
• Empathetic and intuitive listening
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Knowledgeable in crisis response
• Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment
• Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate various systems & tools with ease (this includes, but is not limited to Google Workspace, Slack, proprietary EMR, etc.)
• Passionate about our mission of improving access to high-quality mental health care
• An entrepreneurial spirit or previous experience within a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred

How your skills and passion will come to life at Cerebral:

• Hold thoughtful and engaged sessions with clients once per week for 45 minutes
• Provide up to 40 hours of weekly availability
• Create your own flexible schedule based on your individual availability! Scheduled time must fall within the hours of 6:00am to 11:30pm per your specific timezone
• Work collaboratively with doctors who are managing your clients' medication, in tandem with therapy services you are providing
• Work alongside other like-minded clinicians that have a common goal to positively impact the lives of others, and create an environment that leads to favorable outcomes for clients
