We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument and Electrical (I&E) Lead Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all instrumentation and electrical systems within our facility. The I&E Lead Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and safely and will lead a team of technicians to achieve these goals.

Your key responsibilities

 

• Supervise and lead a team of instrument and electrical technicians.
• Oversee the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex instrumentation and electrical issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime.

You bring

 

• Associate's degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field. Is a plus
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and HMI.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
