We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer whose primary responsibility is to configure and manage a Medical Device IoT solution. This role offers a unique growth opportunity for a highly motivated security professional to be involved in improving the management and security posture of Boston Scientific’s capital medical systems. This role is part of the Cybersecurity and Device Management team residing within the Global Product Cybersecurity organization, reporting directly to the Manager of Cybersecurity and Device Management.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the medical device IoT platform.
- Contribute to product teams by deploying content to medical devices, retrieving data, performing testing activities, and documenting processes/tests.
- Administer AWS S3 buckets and AWS CloudFront distributions.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand and securely meet their needs.
- Monitor content delivery status and prepare independent reports for product teams.
- Administer the device management platform and resolve first- and second-level incidents.
- Perform system maintenance activities.
- Summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from gathered data.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, OR 4+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years of Information Technology experience with a focus on device management or security.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of Information Technology security concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Cumulocity or a similar IoT platform.
- Experience with AWS S3 and/or AWS CloudFront.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience administering and supporting the Cumulocity platform.
- Experience managing Entra ID for identity and access management.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy.
