A Day in the Life

The Core Team Leader (CTL) for the Dispensing portfolio is the cross-functional business leader, accountable for decision-making within development projects using the Core Team model. The Dispensing Portfolio accounts for ~1B$ in revenue for the Medication Management Business and this CTL role will lead the Core Team(s) to deliver the business outcomes aligned with the Dispensing business strategy. The CTL is accountable for all aspects of the Core Team project(s), including the formation of high-performance teams that are adept at project planning and execution for the predictable delivery of reliable solutions for commercial release. The CTL also plays a significant partnering role in mentoring and developing Core Team Members so that they operate as an effective cross-functional team. They are the primary champion for overcoming barriers, driving decisions and creating a culture of empowerment in the broader organization.

Position Responsibilities

• Cross-functional Leader for complex medical device platform(s) and important sub-project(s) with responsibilities for large elements of the product development effort.

• Strategic Product collaboration with the commercial team on trends and needs to develop product roadmaps

• Understanding and providing inputs to commercial business plans

• Understanding Leadership Priorities and Translating Them into Actionable Projects (Scope and alignment, collaboration, pragmatic planning)

• Ensure accountability of Cross-functional team members

• Ensure all cross-functional strategies (i.e. product development, regulatory, service and deployment, etc.) are in place at the appropriate time in the project

• Present Progress updates in Portfolio Management Reviews

• Ensure cross-functional teams are staffed according to project prioritization

• Responsible for technical roadmaps, planning and budgeting during Annual Strategic Reviews

• Plan and administer yearly budget to ensure proper execution of deliverables as aligned to business strategy

• Responsible for rapid and effective escalations

• Responsible for scenario mapping to help inform roadmaps and effective decision making

• Accountable for delivery of commitments and Key Driving Goals for new and in-flight projects within their product line

• Accountable for project and business deliverables .Collaborate and communicate with extended team members, and other relevant stakeholders with respect to planning and execution of the projects Design Development Plan.
