Senior Applications Systems Architect

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Applications Architect to join our team of diverse and talented Individuals.

 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities: 

• Provides design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.
• Develops enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features.
• Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers.
• Provides expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business. Determines specifications, then plans, designs, and develops the most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes—either individually or in concert with project team.
• Will assist in the most difficult support problems.
• Develops programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.
• Understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.
• Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business.
• Viewed both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines.
• Acts as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience or a Masters degree and 6 years of experience or a High School Diploma and 12 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Be able to pass a State of Florida criminal background screening
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications and business intelligence with similar size and complexity.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and implementing systems using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and implementing customized Microsoft .NET applications using SQL Server database (RDBMS).
• Minimum 5 years of experience with development and release management using multiple code branches in Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing systems using role-based security.
• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing 3-Tier Architecture solutions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with various stakeholders and team members to understand requirements, understand data needs and resolve issues.
• Minimum 5 years of experience creating technical documentation and standard QUOTE NUMBER: FDACS RFQ 24 25 16 5 operating procedures.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in database development
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to establish good working relationships with team members, agency representatives, external representatives, and vendor staff.
• Able to work independently, to work against a plan, to meet deadlines, to follow procedures and to produce deliverables.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
