Job Duties

Perform recruitment and selection (R/S) duties to address staffing and business needs.

Provide technical assistance, training, reporting and documentation.

Perform compensation and classification (C/C) duties to address employment and organizational changes.

Complete special projects and provide supplemental support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HR management principles, practices, policies, and procedures, particularly related to recruitment and selection (R/S) and compensation and classification (C/C).
• Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills; computer proficiency using current standard office applications.
• Ability and experience creating and conducting presentations and training, in person or virtually; to partner with internal staff, in all agency areas and levels, to best serve internal and external customers, and develop external relationships to advance the goals of HR and the agency; and to perform with a high level of integrity, trust, and responsiveness to deliver “Best in Class” customer service to internal and external clients.

Additional Considerations

• Experience with full life cycle R/S principles and practices; with C/C principles and practices; with the Commonwealth's systems such as RMS and Cardinal; and with conducting New Employee Orientation and training on HR topics.
