This role is a key member of the Business Resource Center’s Pursuit Team, Aramark’s in house team focused on the development and delivery of high quality sales communication, support the global salesforce’s efforts to drive growth and win record levels of new business. The team is creative, collaborative and dedicated to fueling the growth of the company. Reporting to the Pursuit Director and having a dedicated team of 5+ Pursuit Specialists, the Pursuit Manager is the day to day relationship facilitator and strategic partner between Sales Leadership and an assigned set of salespeople and the Pursuit Team. They are the glue that leads the team that holds together the successful development and delivery of our responses to RF(x) documents and additional sales documents including, but not limited to, presentations, tour books, brochures, marketing collateral and menus.
The Pursuit Manager excels in developing strong relationships with their clients, facilitating effective communication, project managing, and adhering to proven repeatable work processes while continually working toward identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiencies, process, and workstream management. They are champions of process and work plans; obsessed with meeting the details of the bid schedule, they exhibit a sense of urgency and support their team of Coordinators as they deliver high quality documents. They thrive working independently and in a team setting. The Pursuit Manager is responsible for resource allocation, planning, scheduling, and workflow across the proposal team. A key function of the Pursuit Manager is to assure that the team is equipped to build winning proposal documents. The Manager ensures that all processes are current and looks critically at each step to propose and implement continual improvements; eliminating redundancy and inefficiency or highlighting areas of emphasized importance to the proposal team. Additionally, the Pursuit Manager manages the project intake process through Smartsheet as well as working with the group Financial Analyst to manage the time tracking program (Daptiv) tied to billing and cost reporting to the enterprise.
Job Responsibilities
- Bravely lead through difficult situations to deliver all work (yours and the team’s) accurately and on time.
- Leads and develops Proposal Coordinators, Lead Coordinators and other team members as assigned. Direct supervisor to a typical team size of 5+ people to include in-house team members, remote team members across the country.
- Assign projects based on skills, capacity and likelihood of favorable relationship connectivity.
- Support all steps of the production of sales proposals, RF(x) documents, presentations, client reports and other internal and external support materials.
- Format and apply style guides, interpret and apply brand voice and standards.
- Commitment and consistent ability to meet project deadlines, while managing multiple leadership and seller priorities.

- Champion of project management and following set proposal process.
- Recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
