We are currently seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes / FTE / Onsite) to join our team in Smithfield, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Understanding of Kubernetes core concepts
• Experience in extending Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources.
• Experience leveraging Go / Python for application maintenance
• Hands-on development experience working with cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure,
• Hands-on experience with Rancher
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for building, deploying, and maintaining pipelines
• Ability to write, debug, and optimize Groovy scripts for Jenkins pipeline automation and job configuration
• Strong understanding of pipeline-as-code and best practices for scalable CI/CD processes
• Proven experience administering and maintaining Unix/Linux systems, including patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and principles
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment
• Familiarity with system-level debugging, log analysis, and ensuring uptime/availability of critical platform components
• Proficiency with shell scripting to automate routine maintenance tasks
• Passion for the DevOps culture

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

• 5+ years’ experience working on Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources
• 5+ years’ development experience in cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure
• 5+ years development experience in Go / Python for application maintenance
