Data Analyst

Position Description: The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the Assistant Vice President of Business Analytics with importing, transforming, validating and modeling data to meet the needs of the organization with the purpose of supporting business decisions, process efficiency, compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.

Performance Responsibilities and Standards:

• Collaborate with various departments and key stake holders to create specifications for data reports, file imports and exports from data warehouse and production applications
• Develop reports/queries and dashboards in collaboration with the Assistant Vice President of Business Analytics in response to various requests and regulatory requirements
• Assess and validate vital data used by the organization to ensure data integrity
• Work with application vendors on extracting data and supporting staff on utilizing system reports
• Track, develop, and monitor data for submissions to regulatory agencies
• Track, develop, submit, & monitor data exchange between organization and vendors
• Develop and maintains documentation to support reports/queries and facilitate understanding amongst all stake holders
• Provide courteous, responsive, respectful, and knowledgeable customer service
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical field required
• Experience in cost reporting preferred
• Experience in data analytics; healthcare preferred
• Proficiency in data management concepts, database structure and BI platforms
• Proficiency in Excel
• Well-developed time management skills
• Adaptable to change
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with SQL / Power BI / VBA / R preferred
• High Ethical Standards
• Presence primarily in-office, with some manager-approved remote flexibility\

Physical Requirements:

• Speaking/visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend and express written/verbal communication
• Ability to sit or stand at a desk 90% of the day
