Accountant, Supply Chain

Within our Corporate Supply Chain Accounting team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking an Accountant, Supply Chain to leadership with the key operational and financial information required to make strategic and timely business decisions regarding the processes surrounding freight and storage.

 

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $64,800 and $76,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.

 

• Prepare month-end pallet inventory journal entries, including Purchase Price Variance and scrap.
• Manage AR and accrued freight claims account clearing balances promptly.
• Calculate month-end common carrier excess freight, ensuring accurate financial statements.
• Balance domestic SAP CO-PA sub-ledger by day four of the financial statement close.
• Provide detailed freight claim accounting information, aiding in the evaluation of doubtful accounts.
• Foster a continuous improvement mindset, enhancing close model efficiency.
• Embrace new system and solution tools to stay at the forefront of industry practices.
• Support ad-hoc reporting from the Director of Supply Chain and Associate Director of Operations Accounting.

 

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Three (3) years of progressive relevant experience.
• The ability work a weekly 3/2 (office/home) hybrid schedule.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• SAP experience.
• Distribution/Supply Chain experience
