OPS Tutor (College Reach Out Programs)
Job Description:The University of Florida's College Reach Out Program is seeking a skilled OPS Tutor to provide instructional support to students in various subjects, including English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Spanish, and SAT/ACT prep. As an OPS Tutor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to ensure that students receive the individualized attention and support they need to succeed.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide instructional support to students in various subjects.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of individual students.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and developments in education best practices.
$13/hour
Minimum Requirements:- High school diploma required
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong academic knowledge in core curricula, including English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Spanish, or SAT/ACT prep
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff
- Successful experience in providing instruction and/or instructional support in an educational setting
- Availability to work flexible hours
This is a part-time, time-limited position through Fall/Spring terms only.
