Sr. Financial Analyst - Account Lead

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst - Account Lead based in Indianapolis, USA. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager Account Lead and work closely with the Plant Controller. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for general accounting for the location Indianapolis with four businesses. The ideal candidate will have strong financial accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, variance analysis, internal control, and audit.  The individual must possess excellent analytical and communications skills.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for Indianapolis and related businesses, including journal entry preparation and posting.
• Manage the Hyperion submission for respective locations and execute and coordinate the monthly intercompany reconciliation.
• Deliver on internal, external auditing and tax requirements and financial analysis.
• Complete monthly forecast submission for balance sheet, central P&L lines and cashflow
• Develop and maintain key accounting policies, controls, and documentation together with Accounting Compliance Team.
• Own the balance sheet review process, perform trend analysis on balance sheet accounts with significant balances, investigating any variance, and recommending corrective actions.
• Contribute to annual budget and planning processes and ensure integrity of the budgeting and forecasting.
• Establish monitoring processes for a collaboration with a business shared service center and train team members.

 

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• BS in Finance, Accounting, or similar analytical discipline
• Advanced degree and/or financial leadership program preferred
• 7 years of relevant work experience

 

WHAT WE PREFER

• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles
• Sophisticated presentation skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels with self-confidence (Senior Management)
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Working knowledge in manufacturing
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, hands-on experience in regular transactions of HFM and SAP (and/or similar ERP system)
• Working knowledge within Business Intelligence (BI) reporting
