Project Manager/Scrum Master

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies seeks a Project Manager/Scrum Master to support and provide the expertise, technical knowledge, staff support, and other related resources necessary to transition and utilize a new content management system for the Agency’s National Forests, Grasslands, and Regional websites.

Duties/ Responsibilities 

• Manage day-to-day operations of the project
• Scrum master for web related modernization project and use agile software development methodology and maintenance processes
• Guide and coach the scrum team on how to use agile practices and principles
• Resolve team and cross functional team impediments, and escalate as needed
• Work closely with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and scrum team on a daily basis
• Communicating and reporting the project status and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership on status, risks, mitigation, etc.
• Develop, maintain, and manage the project schedule and roadmap
• Facilitate and lead all scrum meetings (daily scrum, release/sprint planning, demos, etc.)
• Check deliverables against requirements to ensure compliance
• Guide team with determining and defining scope, roadmap, vision
• Be aware of industry best practices, techniques and standards, and encourage team members to use them for effective project execution
• Lead the User Acceptance Training (UAT) with stakeholders and users, including rollout plan, communications, training, etc.
• Work closely with BA to prioritize, gather and refine requirements

Support project oversight with the following:

• Support the following areas for their project- Project managements, resource management, recruiting, customer/ relationship management, financial management, business development/ growth, and contract management. 
• Support administrative and personnel management, across the project (e.g. timesheets, status, reports, invoice approval, performance reviews)
• Support resolving team impediments, and escalate to Partner Delivery Project Manager and/or Dynamo Account Lead
• Present and provide monthly project updates to Account Lead on status, risks, mitigation, etc. in both written and verbal communications. 
• Support team member project onboarding
• Ensure quality control by providing regular feedback and coaching to team members on performance 

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proven experience of managing IT Projects, (bonus if Web Development!)
• Experience with Agile Development
• Both Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Project management Professional (PMP) a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Personable and able to work with individuals at all levels
• Ability to plan, organize, and structure work
• Experience motivating teams in a virtual environment
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• U.S Citizenship required

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with web site modernization
• Experience with GitHub or other Agile Tools
• Understanding of Drupal

Education and Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in Project Management and/or Scrum Master
• Bachelor of Science in business administration, IT, or any related field

Salary:

• $125k - $130k. The salary range offered is an estimate made in good faith, intended to encompass various experience levels.
