Job Description:
In this role, the Vice President will focus on helping to drive the capital raising efforts with limited partners in North America. The successful candidate will have active involvement with senior leaders of BXCI and will work closely with investment and fundraising teams across the firm.
The main areas of responsibility include:
- Obtaining capital commitments and driving investor relations and business development objectives to ensure successful execution of strategies across all of BXC’s products.
- Establishing and maintaining both existing and new, prospective relationships, actively covering
- clients and the market in North America.
- Understanding and articulating BXC’s products, fund strategies, and deals in great depth.
- Developing new long-term relationships with major fixed income allocators in North America and their gatekeepers
- Working closely with Blackstone’s existing ICS team to cross-sell BXC products to large firm relationships
- Applying knowledge of credit markets and institutional portfolios to help identify new product development opportunities
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate must have:
- 7+ years’ experience calling on Intermediary and/or Institutional clients. Proven track record of raising assets, developing relationships and identifying new business opportunities across multiple client channels, including insurance general accounts, private & public pension plans, plan sponsors, endowments, consultants, family offices, large annuity & sub-advisory platforms, as well as other key intermediary clientele (large wealth platforms, mega-defined Contribution plan advisors, etc.)
- Strong product and vehicle structure knowledge within fixed income. Ability to effectively communicate and differentiate the BXCI value proposition and the role it can play in portfolio construction.
- Strong relationship management skills. Ability to identify client needs and position BXCI as a solution.
- Willingness to travel to create deep engagement and develop relationships with investors
- Strong judgment, interpersonal skills and strong ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of partners/stakeholders
- Candidate should be self-motivated, and a team-oriented individual who thrives on challenge in a dynamic environment
- Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to learn
- Integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity
- Collaborative individual who will foster strong working relationships with portfolio managers and ICS teams
- Undergraduate degree is required. CFA designation and/or MBA preferred.

Expected annual base salary range:
$135,000 - $200,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
