What You Will Do:
We have an opportunity for a Material Review Board Team Member to be based in Columbus, GA.
- This is a 2nd shift role, but training will take place on 1st shift for several weeks prior to transitioning to Weekend.
- Assisting Engineering and Manufacturing to properly disposition parts running through the Material Review Board Process.
- 3x12 shift Friday - Sunday , 7AM - 7PM.
- General organization and maintenance of MRB Cribs
- Coordinating 305/501 closures with Engineering Support to Operations
- Communication of QN material which needs review to Quality and Manufacturing part family owners Coordinating the creation of Rework/Repair Travelers and final approval of them.
- Final disposition of nonconforming material
- Follow all EH&S rules and guidelines.
- Full support of RMEA QNs from a tracking, closure standpoint
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1+ Year of relevant experience in either: manufacturing, quality control, parts/ inventory management or a related area.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Skilled in processing of Quality Notifications in Solumina and/or ERP (SAP).
- Skilled in navigating Solumina to confirm work instruction and routing requirements.
- Prior quality inspection experience, especially in aerospace or automotive.
- Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing facility.
- Quality control or quality assurance experience in an manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience making decisions on conforming versus nonconforming material.
