Barbaricum seeks a Emergency Management Security Specialist to provide support to an active Missile Defense Agency (MDA) program. This individual will support orchestrating protective measures to safeguard Missile Defense Systems from loss, compromise, or unauthorized disclosure and protect agency workforce, facilities, infrastructure from acts of terrorism, insider threat, and natural disasters.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of standards for emergency management and COOP, in response to natural and man-made disasters.
• Comply with emergency management-related directives, regulations, policies, civil rights laws, standards and guidance supporting National Security Strategy, Presidential Policy Directives, Homeland Security Presidential Directives, National Mitigation Framework, National Incident Management System, National Response Framework, and National Disaster Recovery Framework.
• Assist with planning and assessment of the MDA AT and Physical Security program. 
• Participate in inter and intra-agency collaborative efforts; prepare reports and memoranda. 
• Assist in revising existing or developing new policies, plans, procedures and training material; and make recommendations.
• Develop and prepare emergency management policies and plans, procedures, exercises and campaigns to support National Preparedness Month, Great Shake Out, Eagle Horizon, Host Installation exercises.
• Coordinate occupant emergency plan procedures with other tenants of the facility, GSA, the security provider, onsite contractor representatives, adjacent facilities, local fire and emergency medical services, local emergency planning committee, and local law enforcement agencies.
•  Manage day-to-day occupant emergency plan activities including Occupant Emergency Organization (OEO) recruitment planning, resting, training, and exercises.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• 10+ years of experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / project
• Certified in Security or Counter Intelligence (CI) field

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
