Duties and Responsibilities
This position is in the Supply Unit for the Division of Administrative Services and is responsible for issuing materials, equipment and supplies in a supply warehouse operation. This position is also responsible for staging, loading and shipping of supply inventory and other items.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of standard inventory control procedures.
• Skilled in data entry.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Skilled in the operations of a hand truck, electric pallet jack, and forklift.
• Skilled using calculator, office copier and computerized manifest system (e.g. Florida Real-Time Vehicle Information System [FRVIS] or ORION [Onlin Registration and Identity Operating Network]).
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to organize supplies and materials in numeric or alphabetic order.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to use good judgment.
• Ability to provide professional customer service to internal and external customers.
Job Related Requirements
- The position you are applying is subject to a Level 2 background check, along with Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance, to include a fingerprint-based check of the criminal records of the FBI, as a condition of employment pursuant to Chapter 110.1127, 435 and 943, Florida Statutes. Please note that, since this position requires CJIS clearance, the Department will have access to all an applicant’s criminal and juvenile delinquency records, even those that have been sealed or expunged.
