About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Services Sales Account Manager to join our team and help drive the growth of our Oracle professional services business. This role involves managing sales and account activities, building strong relationships with clients, customers, and partners, and contributing to the success of our team. You will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless sales and implementation solutions.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, local to one of our US offices, or remote, and exhibits a resilient, organized, and collaborative professional demeanor.
What You'll Do
Cultivate and maintain relationships with assigned clients, customers, and partners.
Educate stakeholders on our core value services and identify new business opportunities.
Manage customer engagements, track progress, and ensure timely follow-up.
Collaborate with our New License Sales teams to deliver integrated, "one-stop" solutions.
Identify key integration/implementation partners to align with New License Sales for "Go-To-Market" repeatable solutions.
Make calls to potential customers to discuss assigned plans and directions that may include professional services
Leverage DLT resources, including market executives and technologists to support assigned client growth objectives
Participate in lead generation, sales activities, and marketing efforts to promote service offerings.
Support business retention and growth by managing a pipeline of opportunities and ensuring customer success.
Accurately document sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
Assist with business planning objectives, both internally and with clients/partners.
Investigate and resolve any client or customer issues with a focus on providing exceptional service.
Manage agreements and credit terms as needed
Execute business planning objectives – Internal team and client/partner joint business plans
Conduct client and customer success activities to retain and build business
What We're Looking For
College degree or equivalent work/military experience.
2-4 years in sales, general business, customer service, or team leadership roles. Familiarity with public sector procurement is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when needed
Working Conditions
This role is open to candidates local to any of our US offices, with options for hybrid, full-time office, or remote work based on business needs.
The role may require 5-10% travel.
Typical working hours are 8-5 M-F, with occasional flexibility for non-standard hours or overtime.
