Are you passionate about early childhood education and helping young learners grow through curiosity and play? The Goddard School of Oxford is seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Assistant GSRP Teacher to join our preschool team!

About the Role

As an Assistant GSRP Teacher, you’ll work alongside the Lead GSRP Teacher to support a high-quality preschool program that nurtures the whole child. You’ll help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment aligned with GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) standards and the Wonder of Learning curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead GSRP Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom routines
  
  
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  
  
• Assist with documentation, assessment, and classroom organization
  
  
• Promote social-emotional learning, curiosity, and independence through hands-on experiences
  
  
• Ensure compliance with GSRP and licensing standards for safety, supervision, and program quality
  
  

Qualifications

• Must meet GSRP Assistant Teacher requirements:
  
  
  • Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (Bachelor’s preferred)
    
    
• Experience working with preschool-age children in a structured learning environment
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  
• Passion for early childhood education and commitment to supporting every child’s success
