Work you’ll do

As Manager, Full-stack Software Engineer, you will actively engage in your engineering craft, taking a hands-on approach to multiple high-visibility projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering solutions that delight customers and users, while also driving tangible value for Deloitte's business investments. You will leverage your extensive engineering craftsmanship and advanced proficiency across multiple programming languages and modern frameworks, consistently demonstrating your exemplary track record in delivering high-quality, outcome-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will be a dependable team player and mentor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outcome-Driven Accountability: Own delivery of high-quality, lean solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Technical Leadership and Advocacy: Champion product integrity and alignment, overseeing architecture, design, development, and support.
  • Engineering Craftsmanship: Ensure code quality and maintainability; create technical specs, write and review code, and mentor team members.
  • Customer-Centric Engineering: Rapidly experiment and iterate to deliver effective solutions that address evolving customer needs.
  • Incremental and Iterative Delivery: Deliver solutions in small, actionable steps, adapting quickly to feedback and changing requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Integration: Integrate diverse perspectives within empowered teams to deliver optimal business value.
  • Advanced Technical Proficiency: Apply expertise in modern software practices, Agile, and DevSecOps to enable automated, high-frequency deployment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and deploying solutions using modern programming languages and cloud-native platforms (e.g., Angular, Node.js, Python, C#, . N
