Warehouse Operative

We want to incorporate to our Wilhelmsen Ships Service Team in Panama a Warehouse Operative who´ll be helping us to manage our valuable operation in Panama, we want to find a proactive and enthusiastic person with a good attitude to this type of job.

Main activities will include:  

• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and secure condition always (Housekeeping). As well as report to the management team any suggestion related to fix or repairs in the Warehouse area.
• Perform a good control of the incoming and outgoing goods (products, quantities, and labels).
• Ensure labels are accurately placed on returned assets and complete the reassignment process as required
• Receive incoming goods into inventory properly and work in the sorting or in the control list of the empty cylinders sent to the filling plants
• Perform internal stock movements.
• Support when required to stock counts and report reasons for stock discrepancies
• Ensure correct labelling of products.
• Pick and pack orders for delivery according to the pick lists and within the required time frames an according to the transport and storage regulations
• Report discrepancies during picking and packing process (e.g. damaged, missing or faulty products)
• Ensure quality picking of batch numbers and shelf-life products.
• Transfer the picked/packed goods to the correct shipment location in the warehouse/dispatch area.
• Load and unload trucks

What we need from you?

• At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse doing any of the activities listed before
• Computer Knowledge (Microsoft Package)
• High School Diploma as a minimum grade
• Knowledge of English will be appreciated
• Forklift driving and license preferred, but not mandatory
• Driver License preferable but not mandatory
• Be responsible, proactive, teamwork skills, with passion to learn and have a good attitude
• Be familiarized with the Safety rules and procedures in a Warehouse
