Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide wind turbine system expertise through all phases of product development, including requirements definition, design and development, validation, and product life-cycle support
- Lead technical program teams on all system trade-offs and optimizations with a focus on the reduction of landed cost of electricity
- Own turbine-level requirements in the form of Systems Design Memos; contribute and approve subsystem requirements in Design Memos
- Own and drive risk management for technical program team including ownership of the Systems DFMEA
- Contribute to multi-generation system and technology plans in coordination with all subsystems, including design platforming strategies
- Contribute to and approve customer facing technical documents
- Communicate and provide recommendations through analysis, preparation and presentation of technical material to internal and external audiences
- Drive simplification and standardization of best practices into engineering analysis, validation, and design execution
- Contribute to new and existing design practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in Engineering/Technology
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience working on wind turbine system-related projects

The salary range for this position is $111,200 - $185,400 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. This posting is expected to close on November 5th or thereafter.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
