Overview
This position will work under the supervision of the pharmacist and other pharmacy personnel. Performs routine duties in packaging, distribution and record keeping of pharmaceutical supplies. Consistently demonstrates an ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives, and choose the appropriate course of action. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients being served.

- Compensation: $29.41/hr
- Additional Pay: Shift Differential
- Shifts Available: Per Diem, 8-hour shifts with availability Monday - Sunday
- Alaska Pharmacy Tech License required upon hire
Shift Differentials Available: $2.00/hr (Weekend)- $2.50/hr (Evening) - $6.00/hr (Night)

Responsibilities
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Requires pharmacy technician licensure in the state of Alaska upon hire. Pharmacy technician certification required (CPhT or ExCPT) within twelve (12) months of hire.
Must possess good organizational, problem solving, math, and computer skills. Must have good written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with all levels of staff, physicians, patients and other contacts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional related education and/or experience preferred. One year of pharmacy experience in a retail, clinical or hospital setting preferred.
