Bierman Autism Centers is currently seeking a VP of Revenue Cycle Management as we expand our multi-state business!

 

The Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end revenue cycle processes, driving organizational growth, and ensuring alignment with company metrics. This position plays a pivotal role in optimizing our revenue workflows, ensuring timely access to care for families, and contributing to the strategic direction of the company.

We are a provider in the ABA therapy space and would ideally be seeking a candidate with ABA or behavioral health experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Revenue Cycle Management:

  • Oversee and lead end-to-end revenue cycle processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company growth objectives and metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle operations and ensure the financial stability of the organization.

Optimize A/R Workflows:

  • Drive Accounts Receivable (A/R) workflows to optimize cash collections against targets.
  • Develop and implement processes to reduce days in A/R, minimize bad debt, and increase cash flow.

Client Insurance and Benefits:

  • Lead the client insurance, benefits, and authorizations team, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Ensure families have timely access to services by streamlining insurance verification, benefits validation, and authorization processes.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to provide input and direction on strategic planning, financial forecasting, and business growth initiatives.
  • Regularly assess and analyze revenue cycle performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the RCM team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and  continuous improvement.
  • Ensure team alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements

  

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably within ABA or behavioral health.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving process improvements.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing, coding, and insurance processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.


Basic & Physical Requirements


  • Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions 
  • Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication though computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
  • Must be able to maintain prolonged periods of working on a computer while sitting at a desk and attending virtual meetings
