Senior Operator I - 3rd Shift

As a Sr. Operator I – Cutting Instrument Finishing (CIF) supporting Surgical Manufacturing, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery/equipment in the Cutting Instrument Finishing Department at Sinking Spring, PA.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform a variety of repetitive, manual assembly operations to exacting standards.
• Complete the batch records and associated documentation
• Operate manufacturing equipment that may require performing visual and dimensional inspection of product, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining consumable tooling in equipment
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust manufacturing equipment to maximize quality and efficiency
• Work in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards. Tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements
• May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Work hours: 3rd shift Saturday night-Tuesday night 10 hours (8:45PM-6:45AM)

PREFERRED QUALITICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Machine Operator Experience preferred
