We are looking for SALES DIRECTOR, FIBRE, to join our team in USA team.

What is the job that awaits you?

• Cooperation with ports and inland logistics providers (visits, meetings)
• Follow up and coordination of daily inland deliveries from US ports, securing delivery capacities
• Stock level follow up and communication with other SC teams
• Supports warehouse inspections and physical inventory checks if agreed
• Warehouse specific tasks where applicable
• Port visits in case of damaged lots
• Information gathering related to customer claims
• Information gathering related to operative customer enquiries

Activities NOT included in the job description:

• Communication of price or other conditions in any form
• Contract negotiations
• Prompt / spot business negotiations
• Monthly price & volume discussions
• Sending order confirmations, releases, invoices or other commercial documents
• Negotiating compensation / solution for claims

What are we expecting of you?

• Relevant degree or proven experience in supply chain related positions 
• Hands-on experience of the relevant SAP and MS Office tools and applications is considered as an advantage 
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently  
• Ability to understand and follow defined work-flow processes
• Proactive customer service and team-oriented attitude 
• Experience in inland logistics
• Independent Problem Solver 
• Is comfortable working in an international environment
• Is stress resistant and able to balance multiple priorities 
• Good administrational and organizational skills 
• Fluent (written and spoken) English
• Willing to travel 80%
