Location: North Moore Family PracticePosition: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Intake
• Preparing patients for examination
• Assisting the provider during exams
• Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
• Performing in-house CLIA WAIVED laboratory tests
• Providing education about medication and special diets
• Preparing and administering medications as directed by a provider
• Transmitting prescription refills as directed
• Drawing blood
• Taking electrocardiograms
• Medication prior authorizations
