Vaccines Project Support Manager - Hybrid

We are seeking a Vaccines Project Support Manager to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Durham, NC in a hybrid role.

As the Vaccines Project Support Manager, you will be supporting the Vaccines Business Unit by leading key initiatives, preparing important scientific conferences, meetings, and events. You will be utilizing available reporting tools to create and review reports in an effort to monitor and report program performance as well as analyze trends.

What you’ll be doing:

• Implementing projects, creating, and managing timelines in accordance with client contracts and business requirements documents.
• Coordinating and providing client training on the use of web-based products and reporting tools.
• Defining and updating status reports as appropriate to meet changing business needs and technical requirements.
• Coordinating and leading client status meetings and internal status meetings on a regular basis.
• Developing project plans including timelines, strategies, scheduling, and risk analysis.
• Coordinating various program deliverables with all functional groups (internal and external) to ensure smooth delivery of product(s).
• Managing projects from inception through end project life cycle while optimizing project timelines, financials, and client expectations.
• Proactively escalating risks for resolution and any operational issues impacting project schedules.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in life science industry (pharmaceutical company or CRO)
• 3 years minimum in project management.
• Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• Extremely organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, project and demands.
• Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations (excellent knowledge of Office Suite, SmartSheet, and other Project Management tools).
• Curious with a continuous improvement mindset, Six Sigma Green Belt a plus.
• Project Management certification preferred.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $95,100.00 - $142,700.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
