Conference Meeting Facilitator (Cybersecurity and OffShore Environments)

We are seeking a facilitator with understanding of cybersecurity, operational technology, and the offshore environment responsible for leading forums and other collaborative sessions. The facilitator's role is to help groups work together more effectively by guiding discussions, encouraging participation, and ensuring that meetings and sessions run smoothly.

Requirements

The main duties of a facilitator include:

• Designing and planning forums and collaborative sessions
• Setting meeting agendas and objectives
• Leading group discussions and activities
• Encouraging participation and collaboration among group members
• Managing group dynamics and conflict resolution
• Ensuring that forums, meetings and sessions stay on track and schedule
• Documenting and summarizing meeting outcomes and decisions
• Providing feedback and follow-up support to group members

REQUIREMENTS:

To be an effective facilitator, one needs a range of skills, including:

• A facilitator should also have subject matter expertise in the area they are facilitating, and they need to be able to create a safe and comfortable environment for all participants. Good facilitators are flexible and adaptable, able to manage difficult situations, and have excellent problem-solving skills. They are also skilled at guiding discussions and activities, encouraging participation, and helping groups achieve their goals.
