About the role

Description

Healthcare Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team at a respected senior living community on the south side of Fort Wayne, IN. This 5-Star CMS-rated facility provides a full continuum of care, including short-term rehab, long-term care, memory care, assisted living, and independent living apartments.

In this position, the OTA will work with both inpatient and outpatient populations, helping patients achieve greater independence, improve physical function, and enhance overall well-being.


Position Details:

· Full-time schedule: 30–40 hours per week, typically Monday–Friday

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
