Salary LPN: $67,000 - $75,000 plus a $7,500 sign on bonus

Salary RN: $76,000 - $84,000 plus a $10,000 sign on bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

The MDS Nurse is an LPN or RN who is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, maintenance and timely completion of the MDS, care plans and medical records for residents. 

YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL… 

• Coordinates, conducts, and completes the MDS, resident care plans and conferences on the computerized system.  
• Assures and monitors that MDSs are completed within HCFA and Medicare guidelines.  
• Ensures MDS electronic submission occurs in accordance with State regulations.  
• Participates in family/resident care plan conferences.  
• Assures effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to medical record documentation  
• Encourages rehabilitative techniques in order to restore residents’ independence.    
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.  
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

• Current LPN or RN FL License and current CPR certification.  
• In-depth experience and knowledge working with MDS computer software. 
• Experience with the MDS transmittal process and understanding of regulations impacting the MDS. Supervisory experience preferred
