Salary range starting at $70,000/yr

A Day in the Life:

The Hertz Procurement team has a need for a detailed individual who will focus on analyzing data, supplier performance, market trends and other factors to make informed procurement decisions. As a Procurement Data Specialist, you will report to the Director of Procure to Pay Technology in Estero, FL. This role will specialize in analyzing procurement-related data to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This is an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, assess supplier capabilities, and optimize procurement analytics. This will include gathering and evaluating data from various sources, ensuring data integrity within our systems, and communicating frequently with various teams.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze spend and proposal data to identify cost savings opportunities
• Create and maintain procurement reporting and dashboards 
• Monitor and evaluate supplier rates, pricing, and spend
• Actively support Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process automation and digitization objectives.
• Actively participate/drive process, system and data improvements related to the suppliers, contracts, and proposals. 
• Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; preferably in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Mathematics. 
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in an analytical role 
• Proficiency required in Microsoft 365 Products (Power Automate & Power Apps a plus)
• Advanced skills desired in Excel & Tableau
• SQL & Python skills a plus 
• Previous experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion / Fusion Analytics Warehouse or similar cloud-based platform preferred
• Results-oriented, team player with excellent analytical, process, and problem-solving skills, the ability to start and finish tasks with minimal management oversight, and a positive attitude
• Handle multiple assignments and achieve goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
